About Shantha
A Life in Quality.
Senior textile technologist, Lead Auditor across six management-system families, and Director/CEO of Ind-Expo Certification Ltd. — one of Sri Lanka's trusted certification bodies.
Shantha Kuruppumullage began his career in 1977 at the Sri Lanka Standards Institution's Textile Laboratory and has spent nearly five decades helping Sri Lankan industry meet international standards. He is a Chartered Textile Technologist of The Textile Institute, Manchester, holds a Graduate Diploma in Textile Engineering from City & Guilds, UK, and a National Diploma in Textile from the University of Moratuwa.
Today, as Director / CEO of Ind-Expo Certification Ltd., he leads certification in QMS, EMS, OHSMS, FSMS, EnMS and EOMS across textile, apparel, food, manufacturing and educational sectors. He previously served as Director General of the Sri Lanka Institute of Textile & Apparel (SLITA), UNIDO Senior National Expert on Management System Certification, and Technical Expert for the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board on ISO 17025. He served on the boards of Lanka Salusala Ltd (2015–2020) and the University of Vocational Technology (2015–2017), and is a Justice of the Peace (All Island).
